The Case for Oil

Kuwait runs 10th in the world for oil production behind the number one oil producing country USA. Half of Kuwait’s GDP comes from oil making up 95% of its exports and 90% of the Government Revenue. (available at: https://www.bizvibe.com/blog/top-oil-producing-countries/ accessed 28/7/2019)

Kuwait is also investing in sustainable energybsources through the Kuwait Institute of Sustainable Research identifying that it needs to “harnessing renewable energy to fuel Kuwait's growth”.
