Is it me, or is the world just full of nice people...

This gentleman's name is Mubarak, when he saw my camera over my shoulder he was ready for a photo and thats how the story started.

Having already made a brief connection I just kept capturing the story. I love Subway. This is my favourite shop in Jahra. Great service, friendly people, what more can you ask for.

Lucky for me, Mubarak was happy to keep the experience going. The guys behind the counter must have thought who is the guy with the camera, but hey, this was my goal to step out side my comfort zone, find some stories and see what happens. So my order was up next, 12 inch oatmeal with seafood, cheese with plenty of black olives with two vitamin drinks.

Ok, so the Subway experience is almost over or so I thought, when the most unexpected thing happens. Mubarak offers to pay for my meal. I still find it hard to believe the generosity of strangers. He gave me his number and I will will send him the pictures and a link to this story - If you are readying this Mubarak, شكرا (thank you) you made my day - I hope you like the photos and enjoyed our little encounter.

I walked away very happy. I had stepped outside of my comfort zone, got some great shots, a wonderful experience and was ready to head back to camp, or so I thought. See what happens 5 minutes later in Feature 4.
